The Cycle North Carolina Mountains to Coast Ride is an excellent opportunity to challenge yourself while enjoying the adventure of a lifetime. The Mountains to Coast Ride isn’t a competition. It’s an opportunity to push yourself while traveling the breathtaking North Carolina landscape. Enjoy a 7-day cycling journey through the rural back roads of North Carolina, where you can truly immerse yourself in the state’s authentic beauty and charm. 

The journey will end in Emerald Isle, NC, where Spinnaker’s Reach offers a plush selection of vacation rentals in the heart of the vibrant island town. Our Emerald Isle vacation rentals have breathtaking ocean views from being on the island’s southern tip. We have options for partial week stays, large groups, small groups, and any amenities your heart desires. Challenge Yourself on the Mountains to Coast Ride

Participants will ride an average of 50-60 miles daily during the Mountains to Coast Ride. The 2023 Mountains to Coast Ride will start in Banner Elk and end in the dreamy town of Emerald Isle on the North Carolina Crystal Coast. The bike routes feature turn-by-turn directions, GPS navigation, and signage at every turn.

When: September 30–7, 2023, but there are one-day, three-day, and full-week registration options.

You Can Also Join the Cycle NC Excursions by Visit NC

If you aren’t a skilled cyclist, you can still join in on the fun! The Cycle NC Excursions by Visit NC is a fantastic way to join your family member or friend or if you ever need to rest during the journey. Sign up to experience being transported from each of the exciting stops on the Mountains to Coast Ride. 

You can visit local museums, restaurants, wineries, historical sites, festivals, and anything else you want to explore at each stop. The cost is just $25 per day or $150 for the entire week. There might be additional fees for some activities and meals, but transportation for you and your bike is included with your registration.
