Just a short drive away from the Atlantic Beach Boardwalk and Oceana Fishing Pier is Fort Macon State Park, the most popular state park in North Carolina. Fort Macon State Park has something for everyone to enjoy, the restored fort, swimming, fishing, and more. It’s well worth spending a day visiting.
