Caribsea is the second venture of Executive Chef Patrick Hogan. His first restaurant is the famous Carlton’s in Salter Path, NC, which is known for its crab cakes. While the restaurant is no longer open, you can still purchase these crab cakes at local retail stores. Meanwhile, Patrick Hogan has moved to Caribsea, creating modern coastal cuisine that has been inspired by the history of this region.
Enjoy the Meal of a Lifetime
The three main components of Caribsea’s menu are seafood, prime Angus beef, and raw preparations. You’ll also find simple and delicious salads that perfectly complement the entrees, as well as local favorites, like baked oysters, clam poutine, and crab dip. Most guests come for the seafood, which is locally sourced and expertly cooked. The Angus beef is equally as impressive. Many of the cuts have been aged for up to 36 days in-house and made to temperature. Finally, Caribsea has a selection of raw preparations, each dish utilizing modern techniques for maximum flavor and texture.
